Garmin Launch New Mini 20 & 25 Edge GPS Bike Computers
Garmin’s latest edition to its range of Edge cycling computers are two mini versions, the Edge 20 & Edge 25. Both units are incredibly small sized at 1.6” x 1.6” x 0.7” (4.0 x 4.2 x 1.7 cm) and weighing in at just 25g. The difference between the 20 & 25 is that the 25 is equipped with Ant+ & Bluetooth so is compatible with heart rate belts, speed & cadence sensors plus can communicate with smartphones for Smart notifications such as displaying emails, texts and other alerts when paired with compatible phones.
When paired with Bluetooth®, the Edge 25 is also enabled with Live Tracking which lets friends and family follow your ride in real time.
Both models are due to be available within the next 6 weeks with a price of around £109.99 for the Edge 20 and £139.99 for the Edge 25.
Ride storage on each device is limited with a capacity of storing up to 10 rides on each device so you will have to frequently upload your data .
Battery life for each device is reported to be around 8 hours which is pretty impressive for such a small device.
